TallyGenicomŪ Introduces the 7000 Series Hybrid Thermal Printer Line

Printer boasts optimum quality at faster speeds than existing market solutions.

CHANTILLY, Va., April 28 -- In an important industry move that provides the thermal printing market with a new and exciting alternative to existing products, TallyGenicom today introduces its new line of hybrid/mid-range and rugged desktop thermal printing solutions (http://www.tallygenicom.com/products/index.cfm). This expands the company's already extensive line of printers and reinforces the fact that TallyGenicom is the only printer manufacturer offering a complete suite of printing solutions that include impact, laser, mobile and now thermal products.

The 7000 series thermal printers are available in 2" and 4" widths, and handle label roll diameters up to 8". These printers (http://www.tallygenicom.com/products/product_specs.cfm?Model=7005) support popular emulations commonly used in thermal label printing, including ZPL, EPL, PCL5 and make integration with new and legacy systems quick and easy with minimal integration costs. A leading provider of focused business printers, TallyGenicom, is known for the reliability and robustness of its products -- as demonstrated by its decision to use metal print mechanisms and interfaces vs the plastic printers sold by competitors. A unique USB-A port enables the 7006 (http://www.tallygenicom.com/products/product_specs.cfm?Model=7006) and 7008 (http://www.tallygenicom.com/products/product_specs.cfm?Model=7008) models to operate in stand-alone applications utilizing ancillary components such as USB sticks, weighing scales, barcode readers or keyboards. The 7008 and 7006 are considered the 'Hybrids' because customers use these printers for both desktop and midrange applications.

Targeted at the manufacturing, retail, healthcare and other vertical markets where high reliability and print quality are requirements, these units will be available for delivery beginning May 15th from TallyGenicom's worldwide network of resellers and distributors.

Pricing begins at a very competitive $615.00.
