New IDEC Universal Analog Module

The first and only universal analog module for micro PLCs makes your life that much easier!

Sunnyvale, CA, April 22, 2008-IDEC Corporation is the first and only to offer a new 4-point universal analog input module, expanding the already impressive capabilities of the fastest micro PLC on the market, the MicroSmart Pentra. This high-performance module accepts most analog signals including 0-10V, 4-20mA, thermocouple (type J, K, T), RTD (Pt 100/1000) and Nickel (Ni 100/1000). Each channel is independent and can be configured to accept most analog input devices. Nothing could be easier!

Why waste time specifying what type of analog module to use for your controls system? Save yourself the headache. Now MicroSmart Pentra not only provides high-level control functions, but a universal analog module that solves all your analog control needs! It's a one stop solution. And we didn't stop there! This IDEC module has 16-bit resolution, 0.2% accuracy, and fast conversion times. Plus this universal analog module expands the MicroSmart Pentra's ability to handle applications that require more analog I/O. With the addition of this module, MicroSmart Pentra is the fastest and most powerful PLC on the market.

Easily snap the new module to the side of the MicroSmart Pentra and stand back to enjoy greater system throughput at a competitive price. With a fast Logic Engine and standard features including double word & floating math, Modbus RTU/ASCII, a recently released Modbus TCP/IP, upgradeable firmware, embedded 100kHz high speed inputs and outputs, up to 7 communication ports and easy-to-use software, the MicroSmart Pentra has it all.
