SAN DIEGO, April 14, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. is proud to announce the release of their new lead free, RoHS compliant UHF band (640-945 MHz) Voltage Controlled Oscillator (V708ME02-LF) for broadband transmission applications. V708ME02-LF offers an ultra low phase noise performance of - 100dBc/Hz @10kHz offset (typ). It provides an average tuning sensitivity of 45 MHz/V and covers the bandwidth between 0-9 V. This VCO provides an output power of 9.5±4.5 dBm at DC supply voltage of 9V drawing only 13mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85º C.

V708ME02-LF comes in Z-COMM's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x0.50
in.x0.13 in. This amazing VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. This is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
