April 29, 2008 - RoHS-compliant, subminiature VCO SMV2165A-LF in S-band features typical phase noise of -90 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. From -40º to +85ºC, it has tuning sensitivity of 148 MHz/V typical and provides output power of 6 ± 3 dBm with 3.3 Vdc supply while drawing 16 mA typical. Unit is contained in SUB-L package measuring 0.30 x 0.30 x 0.08 in. and is suited for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

SAN DIEGO, April 14, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces the introduction of their new lead free, RoHS compliant sub miniature VCO (SMV2165A-LF) in S-band (2118-2218 MHz) featuring typical ultra low phase noise of -90dBc/Hz @10kHz offset. This design has a tuning sensitivity of 148 MHz/V (typ) and provides an output power of 6±3 dBm with 3.3Vdc supply while drawing only 16mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85ºC.

SMV2165A-LF comes in Z-COMM's industry standard SUB-L package measuring 0.30 in. x 0.30 in. x 0.08 in. This amazing VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. This is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
