Interface Software Permits Easy Addition of ICs to IC Tester Libraries
B&K Precision Corporation's, new AK57X Interface Software with USB Dongle interfaces the B+K Precision Model 570A Analog and Model 575A Digital Hand Held IC Testers with the CompactLink Functional IC Test Generating Software to permit the easy addition of new ICs to the tester's libraries. Priced at $625, the software requires an RS-232 or USB (required adaptor included) connection to a PC and runs with Microsoft XP and a USB jack for the Licensing Dongle.
The CompactLink IC Library Development software contains a high level descriptive test programming language optimized for generation of both analog and digital IC test programs. Programs are compiled into machine code, making them fast and compact, and can be freely added to the Model 570A and 575A libraries. CompactLink also contains a sophisticated test program which permits the user to check the program execution before it is added to the library.
The Model AK57X Interface comes with a Security Dongle that must be connected to the USB port in order to operate the software. To help keep track of the Security Dongle, B+K Precision has attached it to a B+K Precision Pocket Knife Keychain.
B+K Precision's Model 570A Analog and Model 575A Digital hand held IC Testers,
offer advanced functionality and ease of use. The 2-line x 16 character dot matrix LCD shows the result of the test as a PASS or FAIL, together with individual pin diagnostics, test made, and possible equivalents. Both units are compact, hand held, battery powered and contain extensive built-in test libraries.
Priced at only $1,399, the Model 570A Analog IC Tester's built-in test library includes all common Analog ICs including op-amps, comparators, voltage regulators, voltage references, analog switches and multiplexes, opto-isolators and couplers, and audio ICs. The Model 575A Digital IC Tester's built-in test library includes a broad range of TTL, CMOS, memory, LSI, interface and other devices of up to 40 pins. Proven test software, advanced technology, and a suggested retail price of $1,099 make this tester an ideal addition to any tool kit.
