Cincinnati, OH - A new service from Vi-Cas Manufacturing matches customer-supplied custom vacuum cups against an extensive selection of standard parts. With the "Match & Test" program Vi-Cas engineers suggest alternate materials and configurations that can yield shorter lead-times and lower costs with performance that typically exceeds that of the original parts. Samples parts are provided (at no charge) to verify performance under actual operating conditions.
If no suitable standard cups are available, Vi-Cas manufactures custom vacuum cups in materials to suit most any application. There is no minimum order size, but a modest set-up fee applies to new cup designs. They manufacture to supplied prints, or reverse-engineers parts from customer-supplied samples. Vi-Cas vacuum cups are ideal for all types of vacuum equipment - including lifters, manipulators, pick-and-place systems, packaging, end-of-arm tooling, label applicators, and more.
