Packaging System combines bundling and stretch wrapping.

April 22, 2008 - Designed to totally enclose large items such as wood products, cabinets, and furniture, inline Protecta Pack Hibrid System applies sleeve of poly foam, bubble wrap, LDPE, or high abuse film to protect top, bottom, leading, and trailing faces and edges of package. Stretch film is then wrapped horizontally around pack to secure over wrapped sleeve in place and to fully enclose pack. Outer layer locks protective film around edges and corners of package where it is most vulnerable.

EDL's Protecta Pack Hibrid System

"EDL provides technologies and engineering to configure systems that meet special and
often unique customer requirements. We listen, study, design and deliver value."

EDL's Protecta Pack Hibrid System
This system features the protection of our sleeve wrappers with the flexibility of a stretch wrapper. It is an inline system designed to totally enclose large items such as wood products, cabinets and furniture.

Following our tradition of constant innovation, EDL offers our "Protecta Pack Hibrid" system which combines bundling and stretch wrapping technologies. This system applies a sleeve of poly foam, bubble wrap, LDPE or high abuse film to protect the top, bottom, leading and trailing faces and edges of your package. Stretch film is then wrapped horizontally around the pack to secure the over wrapped sleeve in place and to fully enclose the pack. The outer layer locks the protective film around the edges and corners of the package where it is the most vulnerable.

The Hibrid system wraps random sized products, and adjusts the tension of the stretch film to the shape and size of your product.

EDL'S PROTECTA PACK HIBRID SYSTEM
Features of the EDL Protecta Pack Hibrid System:
o Provides solutions for manufactures to bundle large sized products
o Package materials that can be used are poly foam, bubble wrap, LDPE, or high abuse film

o Increases protection and ease of handling
