GMT Fuse Panels feature universal operating voltage.


April 16, 2008 - Dual-feed 20/20-position panel (HPGMT20) and dual-feed 10/10-position front access panel (HPGMT10FA) are engineered for traditional telecommunications and next-gen applications. While former provides 20 total fuse positions per input bus in 1.75 in. of vertical rack space, latter locates all connections on front of panel for limited-access environments. Both configurations offer 100 A input per bus (200 A for panel); alarms for components located in bay; and up to 20 A GMT fuses.

New Telect GMT Fuse Panels Feature Universal Operating Voltage


Two Configurations Added to Comprehensive Power Distribution Line

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash., April 14 -- Telect, Inc., a global provider of connectivity and power solutions for the communications industry, today released two new GMT fuse panels engineered for use in traditional telecommunications and next-generation applications.

The two new panels feature universal +/-24 VDC or +/-48 VDC operating voltage to function seamlessly with a broad range of local/remote central office, data center, and cell tower communications equipment. Specific new configurations include a dual-feed 20/20-position panel (Telect part number HPGMT20) and a dual-feed 10/10-position front access panel (Telect part number HPGMT10FA).

The 20/20-position panel provides a high-density total of 20 fuse positions per input bus in just one rack unit (1.75") of vertical rack space, while the front access panel locates all connections on the front of the panel for limited-access environments. Other standard features for both include:

-- High capacity for a GMT fuse panel -- 100A input per bus (200A total input for the panel)
-- Bay alarms for major/minor alarming for components located in the bay
-- Up to 20A GMT fuses to handle a wide variety of communications equipment
-- Independent certification to NEBS Level 3 standards; UL and CUL listed
