Vaughan Reinvents the Framing Hammer

Vaughan has reinvented the popular American icon by introducing the new S2 framing hammer. The S2 is a "split-head" hammer, meaning the head is split in two, which interrupts and dissipates shock generated during use thereby greatly reducing stress to the users hand, wrist and arm. The S2 presents a revolutionary look and feel to the ordinary framing hammer.

The S2 hammer offers many innovative features never seen before such as integrated plates that protect the hickory wood handle from damage during overstrikes, modular head and claw construction and elastomeric shock gaskets. Popular features on other Vaughan hammers, such as precision balance and a Headstart® Magnetic Nail Holder, can also be found on the new S2. All of these features were designed to prevent less wear and tear on the user while making the job easier and faster. The S2, at 18 oz., has the feel of titanium with the strength of steel. The S2 retails for around U.S. $50.00 and will be available at hardware stores, home centers and building supply stores in the U.S. and Canada. To order the new S2 hammer online, visit www.lowes.com.
