videoNEXT Announces its v-MX(TM) Video Wall

LAS VEGAS and CHANTILLY, Va., April 2, 2008 /-- ISC West 2008, Booth #20138 -- videoNEXT, a developer of innovative security management solutions, today announced its v-MX(TM) video wall solution. This new virtual-multiplexing display system enables videoNEXT's Security Knowledge Manager(TM) (SKM(TM)) users to display live and archived video and command and control data to an infinite number of displays in their command center.

Adding v-MX to an SKM installation enables video wall and multiplexing functionality in a pure IP-based environment. v-MX can scale to route and display live video directly from any number of cameras to a limitless number of video wall configurations. Whether an organization needs a dual monitor terminal or a massive, multi-display command center video wall for hundreds of cameras and monitors, v-MX is an extremely value-rich solution both technically and fiscally.

"Expanding our offerings to meet and exceed the demands of the user community is a priority for our company," said David Marra, chief technology officer at videoNEXT. "The development of v-MX addresses a growing need for the currently unanswered problem of delivering low-latency, analog look and feel video multiplexing in a true network-based video system. The videoNEXT video wall solution provides our SKM users with a true command center solution harnessing the power of today's advanced cameras, encoders and computing hardware; to include high frame rate and resolution imagery, multicast networking and the ever increasing power of today's commercially available processors and video cards."

videoNEXT's SKM is an open, standards-based software solution that works with almost any IP, digital or analog camera, runs on any Intel or compatible server and uses an organization's existing security and data infrastructure in new and powerful ways. It provides the easiest and most scalable IP surveillance and security solution available today. Combining this with full policy-level administration and a flexible high availability Storage Volume Manager -- organizations now have a highly capable, powerful, scalable and easy- to-use surveillance and security tool.
