Metal Screws promote PCB vibration dampening.

April 1, 2008 - Made of 1022 Carbon Steel, RoHS-compliant VGS series is used to mount noise- and vibration-controlling VG series grommets, along with PCB, to chassis and compress grommet. Smooth shaft on screw protects grommet while allowing it to move freely and absorb PCB vibration. Special collar on screw head optimizes surface area on grommet, furthering level of vibration damping.

Richco, Inc. is proud to present its new metal screws for the VG series grommets, the VGS series. The VG grommet is designed to control noise and vibration, and the unique rib design maximizes absorption. The VGS screw mounts the grommet and PCB to the chassis, providing compression of the grommet. The smooth shaft on the screw protects the grommet and allows it to move freely, absorbing the vibration of the PCB. The special collar on the screw head provides maximum surface area on the grommet, adding to the vibration damping. The part is RoHS Compliant.
