Ethanol Emissions Detector complies with NSPS Subpart VV.


April 1, 2008 - Rated intrinsically safe for explosive environments, 2020ComboPRO utilizes photoionization detection (PID) technology to detect ethanol leaks in ethanol fuel production plants. Portable instrument has 0.1-10,000 ppm measurement range and meets/exceeds requirements of NSPS Subpart VV specific to EPA Method 21 for fugitive emissions. Critical data is displayed in less than 3 sec, and audible/visual alarms alert operator when pre-defined limits are exceeded.

The measurement of ethanol leaks in fuel ethanol production facilities is essential for compliance with the air quality operating permit requirements of NSPS Subpart VV, and the 2020ComboPRO from Photovac offers this capability in a portable and easy to operate instrument. With its proven photoionization detection (PID) technology, the 2020ComboPRO measures ethanol leaks accurately and quickly. The large digital display prompts the operator through the basic operations, and critical data is displayed in less than 3 seconds. The 2020ComboPRO boasts a wide measurement range of
0.1 ppm to 10,000 ppm, and audible and visual alarms alert the operator when pre-defined limits are exceeded. The 2020ComboPRO meets and exceeds the requirements of NSPS Subpart VV specific to EPA Method 21 for fugitive emissions, also known as leak detection and repair (LDAR). And the 2020ComboPRO is also rated intrinsically safe for explosive environments.
