Industrial Keyboard incorporates touchpad, mouse buttons.

April 1, 2008 - Available with single USB cable option, DU-5K-TP2 integrates Synaptics touchpad and 2 buttons below it that serve as left- and right-click mouse buttons. Touchpad can also be used for clicking and selection purposes, but buttons facilitate operation. Fully sealed, keyboard features industrial silicone rubber keypad and ABS polycarbonate base. It measures 15 x 6.5 x 1.5 in. and meets NEMA 4X specifications for resistance to water, dirt, dust, and corrosive liquids.

iKey Introduces the DU-5K-TP2

Austin, Tx. - One of iKey's most popular industrial keyboards has a new look and a new part number.

The DU-5K-TP is now the new and improved DU-5K-TP2, featuring an integrated Synaptics touchpad and two buttons below it that serve as left- and right-click mouse buttons.

"The Synaptics touchpad can still be used for clicking and selection purposes, but the two buttons below it provide additional ease-of-use," said Dave Huddleston, Operations Manager at iKey.

Another new feature of the DU-5K-TP2 is the availability of a single USB cable option. The original DU-5K-TP came with a PS/2 cable only.

The DU-5K-TP2 is fully sealed with an industrial silicone rubber keypad and a lightweight ABS polycarbonate base. The keyboard meets NEMA 4X specifications, which means it is resistant to water, dirt, dust and corrosive liquids. Its dimensions are 15" x 6.5" x 1.5" (w-h-d).
