March 27, 2008 - ENVIROMUX®-GSM interfaces with ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16 Server Environment Monitoring System and sends SMS text messages to pager or cell phone when sensor goes out of configurable threshold's range. Able to be used worldwide on GSM networks, modem functions on 850, 900, 1,800, or 1,900 MHz GSM frequency and supports AT commands, UDP/API, PPP, UDP/PAD, CMUX, TCP/PAD, and TCP/API protocols. No special tools or software are required for immediate operation.

NTI Introduces GSM Modem for the ENVIROMUX® Server Environment Monitoring System


AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc today announced the addition of the ENVIROMUX-GSM GSM Modem to its popular line of environment monitoring sensors and communication accessories.

The GSM Modem interfaces with the ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16 Server Environment Monitoring System. It sends SMS text messages to a pager or cell phone when a sensor goes out of range of a configurable threshold.

The ENVIROMUX-GSM is a quad-band GSM modem that functions on any of the four GSM frequencies - 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz or 1900 MHz. It can be used worldwide on all major GSM networks. The modem supports AT commands, UDP/API, PPP, UDP/PAD, CMUX, TCP/PAD and TCP/API protocols.

Available for immediate sale, the ENVIROMUX-GSM modem costs $350 each.

NTI units connect between computers and peripherals, are easy to use, and require no special tools or software for immediate operation. Customer satisfaction is supported with a two-year warranty on all parts and labor and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
