S-band Coaxial Resonator Oscillator Delivers Excellent Phase Noise for Fixed Wireless Applications

Featuring: Ultra Low Phase Noise, Linear Tuning, Excellent 2nd Harmonic Suppression, RoHS Compliant

SAN DIEGO, March 12, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. is proud to announce the introduction of their new lead free, RoHS compliant, coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO2545B-LF) in S band (2500-2590 MHz) offering an ultra low (typ) phase noise performance of -107dBc/Hz @10kHz offset. This unique design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of 30 MHz/V (typ) and covers the band between 0.5- 4.5 V. It has excellent (typ) 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc. It is designed to deliver 5dBm output power (typ) at 5Vdc supply while drawing 20mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO is ideally suited for applications that require linear tuning and excellent phase noise performance.

CRO2545B-LF comes in ZCOMM's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x0.22 in. This amazing VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
