ELGIN, Ill. - The HARTING Micro Card Edge Data (MCE) connector range is aimed at board-to-board mezzanine,or small "pluggable daughter card" applications.

The MCE connectors are suitable for high rates (up to 14 Gbps) data transmission in Telecommunication, Medical and Industrial applications. The connectors are available with 40 and 100 contacts in the pitch of 0.8 mm. Their extremely smooth contact surface keeps insertion forces low and ensures a high contact reliability and security.

HARTING´s Micro Card Edge connector range offers excellent manufacturing features for SMT reflow soldering. The tape & reel packaging with a pick & place pad for a vacuum nozzle make this connector range suitable for high volume production.
