Envirosight Offers Rugged VeriSight Push Camera with Tri-Frequency SONDE
Pipeline Video Inspection System Stores 45 Hours of MPEG4 Video & Connects to PC Via USB
Randolph, New Jersey - March 6, 2008 - Plumbers, contractors, and municipalities now have a push camera option that is rugged, affordable and full-featured: the new VeriSight(TM) from Envirosight. The VeriSight system combines:
o A stainless-steel self-leveling camera with tri-frequency SONDE,
o A splashproof digital controller with text-writer and storage for 45 hours of MPEG4 video, and
o A welded stainless-steel reel with Kevlar-reinforced push rod.
VeriSight's self-leveling push camera captures upright, detailed color inspection footage from even the most challenging lines, including those with S traps, P traps and tees. Its dimmable, shadowless LED array casts 20% more illumination than competing systems. Protected by corrosion-resistant stainless steel and a scratch-proof sapphire window, the camera measures just 1.8" (46mm) diameter and comes standard with a 2.4" (60mm) skid. (A 4-8" (10-20cm) adjustable skid is also available.)
Built into a water- and shock-resistant ABS plastic housing, the VeriSight controller displays video on an 8" TFT LCD, and records 45 hours of MPEG inspection video to a 60 GB internal hard drive. Its USB 2.0 port facilitates rapid upload of footage to any desktop or laptop PC, where it can be emailed, archived or burned to DVD. A text-writer with sealed QWERTY keyboard and 16-page memory displays inspection notes onscreen, as well as camera distance in selectable feet/meters. The controller runs on mains or vehicle power, or off its own rechargeable Ni-MH battery.
Designed to withstand pressure-washing, the rugged VeriSight coiler is made of welded stainless steel. Its wheels have spring shock absorbers to handle rough transport. The push rod itself, 12mm in diameter and 100' or 200' long, is reinforced with Kevlar and epoxy to ensure 4000-lb breaking strength. Its SONDE transmitter resides behind the camera, operating at a selectable 512 Hz, 640 Hz or 33 kHZ for locating at distances up to 12'.
(A mini system is also available with a compact stainless steel coiler, 1.3" self-leveling camera, and 10mm push rod measuring 100' or 200' long.)
"VeriSight delivers professional-grade features and dependability at a price that offers tremendous value against comparably equipped brands", says Kelvin Cherrington, VeriSight Product Line Manager. "What's more, customers can rest assured their product is backed by the best-rated service and support organization in the industry."
VeriSight buyers receive a 1-year warranty; access to factory-trained and -stocked regional service centers across the North America; and the option of drive-up and 24-hour service plans. In addition, each VeriSight system purchase comes with a $1,000 credit that may be applied toward any subsequent Envirosight purchase (valid until January 1, 2009). A VeriSight purchase can be returned within 7 days for any reason.
As a companion to VeriSight, Envirosight also sells a high-sensitivity, 3-frequency locator made of ABS and lightweight carbon fiber.
