Prefeeding Unit offers max feed speed of 59.5 ft/s.

March 18, 2008 - Designed for use with automatic Cut Strip Terminate machines, PreFeeder 60 features controlled roller drive that feeds wire into accumulator to reduce tension before it is pulled by feeding mechanism. Wire line height can be adjusted, and wire end detection sensor is optionally available. PreFeeder 60 helps maximize productivity of processing machine, especially when it comes to wire packaging that might be problematic such as wire barrels, loose wires, and cardboard boxes.

Precise & Powerful: The PreFeeder 60

The PreFeeder 60 is a high speed prefeeding unit for use with automatic Cut Strip
Terminate (CST) machines. A controlled roller drive feeds the wire into an accumulator
to reduce tension on the wire before it is pulled by the high-speed feeding mechanism
of the CST machine for further processing. The PreFeeder 60 is an excellent solution
to maximize productivity of the processing machine, especially when it comes to wire
packaging that might be problematic (e.g. wire barrels, loose wires, cardboard boxes).
With a maximum feeding speed of 59.5 ft/s (9 m/s) (depending on wire type and wire
bundle), the PreFeeder 60 has been optimized for high-speed fully automatic crimping
machines such as the Schleuniger CrimpCenter models.

The main features of the PreFeeder 60 are an optimized wire feeding system with a dynamic accumulator to reduce tension on the wire and a controlled roller drive for high feeding speeds. Wire line height can be easily adjusted, and a wire end detection sensor is also available as an option.

The PreFeeder 60 fully complies with all CE and EMC guidelines relative to mechanical and electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.

Schleuniger, headquartered in Switzerland, is an independently owned, multinational group of companies, committed to the design and manufacture of machinery for the high quality cutting, stripping and crimping of all types of wire and cable.
