Ashtabula, OH: Tilt trucks in the Poly-Trux® line from material handling product manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co., Ashtabula, Ohio (www.Recycleosaurus.com) feature an optional, ergonomic, hinged lid that permits the cover to be easily opened and closed with one hand without requiring removal of the cover from the tilt truck. Ideal for collecting refuse, scrap, laundry bags and other cargo, the hinged lid fits tightly over the outer rim when in its covered position to control odors and guard against personal contact with germs, sharps and other hazards. The hinged lid also hides cargo from view to deter casual theft and promote a clean appearance for guests, customers and others. Further, opening the hinged lid permits extra cargo to be loaded and hauled without enticing workers to manually crush the cargo to fit below the rim.
The hinged lid is available on all six models in the tilt truck line, which comprises capacities ranging from 750 lbs. to 2,000 lbs. to suit virtually any heavy or light duty application. Both the hinged lid and the tilt truck body are rotationally molded of 100% weatherproof polyethylene for durability, longevity and cleanability, In addition to the hinged lid, available options include tow hitches, bag hooks, brakes and permanent graphics.
