Simple Everyday Measuring Hilti PD 4 Laser Range Meter
TULSA, Okla. - January 23, 2008 - Slim, compact and built to withstand tough, everyday jobsite conditions, the Hilti PD 4 Laser Range Meter is the new measure of efficiency.
The easy-to-use PD 4 measuring device delivers highly accurate measurements at the push of a button. With a sensor-automated backlight and simple, one-button operation for both measuring and tracking functionality, the PD 4 measures distances with laser precision of ± 1/12 inch from 7.8 inches up to 230 feet. Requiring only one person to operate, the laser range meter is able to measure quickly and safely in places where access is difficult, providing greater convenience and helping increase productivity.
Ruggedly built, the PD 4 has durable rubber protection surrounding the edges of the meter, creating a dust-tight, water-resistant casing. Tested in up to two feet of water for up to eight hours, the proven durability of the PD 4 allows the meter to withstand the harshest of jobsite conditions.
Under Hilti Lifetime Service, the PD 4 will be serviced quickly and reliably, if needed, with no additional cost for two years. During the lifetime repair cost limit, which begins after the two-year no cost period, the tool will have a maximum repair cost of no greater than 30 percent of a new tool's list price. Once the tool is repaired, it receives an additional six months of no cost service. The lifetime manufacturer's warranty covers the tool against manufacturer defects for the life of the tool.*
