Gloves come in 10 types to meet construction worker's needs.


March 3, 2008 - Designed to protect construction workers in wide variety of applications, ProGrade(TM) Series offers comfort, dexterity, and dry or wet grip along with protection against cut, puncture, and abrasion. Styles are also available that provide chemical resistance, high visibility, and protection from cold. Ansell PROGRADE(TM) Series Gloves Meet Construction Workers' Diverse Needs


RED BANK, New Jersey (February 27, 2008) - Construction workers often need a single glove style that will provide the protection they need while performing a variety of tasks throughout the day. Ansell's new ProGrade(TM) Series includes ten professional grade glove styles designed to protect construction workers in a wide variety of applications.

Ansell ProGrade Series gloves include the following styles: HyFlex® 11-500 gloves, HyFlex® 11-501 gloves, HyFlex® 11-627 gloves, HyFlex® 11-801 gloves, HyFlex® 11-900 gloves, AlphaTEC® 58-530 and 58-535 gloves, PowerFlex® 80-100 gloves, PowerFlex Plus 80-600 gloves and PowerFlex T Hi Viz Yellow(TM) 80-400 gloves.

According to Sean Sweeney, Ansell Senior Market Development Manager, gloves within the Ansell ProGrade Series offer performance advantages such as comfort, dexterity and dry and/or wet grip along with high levels of protection against cut, puncture and abrasion. Styles are also available that provide chemical resistance, high visibility and protection from the cold.

Gloves within the Ansell ProGrade Series are appropriate for a wide range of applications, from general construction and carpentry to masonry, landscaping, HVAC work, drywall installation, plumbing and electrical work.

"Recent research indicates that 58 percent of construction workers do not wear work gloves while performing their jobs and the 42 percent who are provided gloves by their employers cannot work in them," Sweeney said.
