Featuring Intel 915GME chipset, AR-B5230 small form factor SBC features multiple connectors on board edge for operational flexibility. It supports Intel Pentium M or Celeron M with 533 or 400 MHz FSB; 533 MHz DDRII memory to 1 G max; and VGA/LVDS/DVI input. Along with 8-bit GPIO, connectivity is promoted via USB 2.0, 10/100 Ethernet, PCI-104, serial (RS-232, RS-232/422/485), as well as IDE and SATA HDD interfaces. Unit operates from 12 Vdc single voltage power input.

The most important feature of the EPIC board is that all the locations of the connectors are specified, which means it is a standard form factor.
