This software solution is scalable from plant level to global deployments and includes a comprehensive, fully integrated set of EH&S and Crisis Management modules. New and expanded functionality along with performance and user experience improvements enable organizations to increase productivity by driving process improvements that generate time and cost savings while improving management decision making. Its integrated design reduces complexity, risks and costs by leveraging critical data, information and best practices processes from a common database across business enterprises.
Essential Suite version 7.1, delivers on ESS' commitment to offer innovative solutions that address a full spectrum of sustainability challenges, with a focus on five urgent business concerns: greenhouse gases and global climate change, worker health and safety, environmental compliance, emergency planning and response, and Corporate Social Responsibility reporting.
Essential Suite version 7.1 software provides a tangible framework that aligns employees daily work activities and business processes with the organization's strategic objectives and goals for sustainability.
This latest ESS software also provides:
- Global Usability Enhancements that give users more control and flexibility over their individual interface, and simplify and speed up data entry with more intuitive workflow and access to frequently-used forms and data. The release also incorporates flexible user interface navigation skins and user defined shortcuts.
- Essential Incident(TM), a new module that makes it easy to collect and manage a wide range of incident information, and to analyze and prioritize workplace health and safety risks including incident lifecycle management;
- Essential Audit(TM), a new module that simplifies EH&S auditing by enabling users to quickly capture and manage operational data in order to assure compliance with government regulations, global protocols, industry standards and corporate policies;
- Essential Performance Manager(TM), extensive enhancements to the Business Intelligence solution that enables users at each level of the organization, from the plant floor to the executive suite, to easily create and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) related to their specific roles and needs. Users can now drill down into KPI data for analysis and view operational progress using digital dashboards and scorecards;
- Architectural enhancements that improve speed, scalability, and performance of the software utilizing service oriented architecture, (SOA), Microsoft .NET.3, AJAX, and Web Parts technologies. These technology enhancements also facilitate the new, flexible interface configurations.
