Spun from 100 percent pure polypropylene fibers, the graded density cartridges and housings offer high dirt holding capacities, providing a reliable, versatile and low-cost solution for a number of filtration applications.
SchroederSPUN cartridges work by trapping the larger sized particles on the outside of the element while harboring smaller particles closer to the element's core. Features include a V-band closure atop a stainless steel housing for quick and easy installation, easy element change, and low pressure drop.
Available in various element sizes and styles, SchroederSPUN cartridges and housings are ideal for a variety of applications including: reverse osmosis (RO) pre-filtrations; the processing of bottled water, beer and wine; high pressure pumps and nozzles for car wash facilities; pre- and post- UV water treatment; electroplating, varnishing and resin finishing; and coolant for pumps used in industrial machining centers.
SchroederSPUN cartridges and housings are offered in a stainless steel version capable of accommodating pressures up to 150psi, or a NSF standard 42 listed PolyPro version equipped to handle pressures up to 125psi.
