February 20, 2008 - Available in thru-beam, retroreflective, and proximity models, MINI-EYE(TM) Sensors are waterproof and enclosed in high-impact plastic housings for use in hostile environments. They are also designed for immunity against indirect ambient light such as strobes on lift trucks. Offering IR or red LED light sources and NPN or PNP output transistors, sensors are available with quick-disconnect or potted cables, and are suitable for counting, sorting, inspection, and web break detection.

Low Cost, Miniature Photoelectric Sensors That Fit Anywhere!


TAMPA, FLORIDA: TRI-TRONICS COMPANY, INC. has introduced a full line of very economical, miniature photoelectric sensors designed to perform most sensing tasks from even the tightest locations. The new rugged MINI-EYE(TM) sensors are waterproof and enclosed in high-impact plastic housings for use in hostile environments. They are also designed for immunity against indirect ambient light such as strobes on lift trucks.

These versatile material handling sensors are available in thru-beam, retroreflective and proximity models for performing object detection such as counting, sorting, inspection, orientation, web break detection much more!

MINI-EYE sensors offer a selection of either infrared (IR) or red LED light sources, and NPN or PNP output transistors. All models are available with quick disconnect or potted cables, and they can be operated in either the Light "On" or Dark "On" modes.
