Minneapolis, Minnesota - CIT RELAY & SWITCH introduces the J860 Series monostable, high dielectric relay with 2.5kV surge strength that conforms to FCC Part 68. The J860 is DPDT with coil voltage choices of 3, 4.5, 12 and 24VDC. This relay measures in at 15.0 x 7.5 x 9.5mm. The J860 Series relay is UL/CUL recognized and RoHS compliant featuring cadmium-free contacts ensuring environment-friendly use. The 2 form C contacts are gold clad offering stable, low level signal switching. The J860 relay is epoxy sealed for automatic wave soldering and cleaning.
The J860 has a maximum switching power of 60W; a maximum switching voltage of 250VAC, 220VDC; and a switching current of 2A. Electrical life at the rated load is 100k cycles and mechanical life is typically 100M cycles. With insulation resistance of 100MW minimum at 500VDC, the J860 offers coil-to-contact dielectric strength of 2500V rms minimum at sea level and contact-to-contact dielectric strength of 1500V rms minimum at seal level. Shock resistance is 750m/s2 for 11 minutes and vibration resistance is 3mm double amplitude 10~40Hz. The copper alloy terminal strength is 5N.
The CIT RELAY & SWITCH J860 series relay is ideal for use in signal, telecommunications, security, alarm, game systems, process and controls applications.
Lead-time averages 5 to 6 weeks. Pricing starts at $1.18 @1000
pieces, dependent upon contact arrangement.
