Time-of-Flight (TOF) technology is based on the measurement of the time between the emission and receipt of the laser light pulses. The amount of time the pulse takes to reach the target and return is measured and converted to a distance measurement. This ensures S80 sensors makes accurate distance measurements as far as 7 meters away, perfect for long-range applications.
And that's only the beginning, S80 is so much more! These sensors are user-friendly, rugged, compact and flexible. A bright laser spot emission makes it easy to set up and align the sensor as needed. Once that's done, a 4-digit display makes it fast for users to set important parameters or check parameters already set.
