Introducing STRONGRAIL(TM)- Low-Maintenance, Fiberglass Architectural Handrail

(Bristol, VA) Strongwell is excited to introduce the company's newest product line of fiberglass handrail - STRONGRAIL(TM). STRONGRAIL(TM) architectural handrail systems are attractive, strong and very low maintenance compared to wood and metal systems. STRONGRAIL(TM) combines the benefits of pultruded fiberglass with architectural beauty that will last a lifetime! Other features include:

o Corrosion and rot resistance
o Ease of field fabrication
o Structural strength
o Low thermal conductivity
o Impact resistance
o Low electrical conductivity
o Lightweight

Assembling the architectural handrail has never been easier with new internal molded connectors that practically "snap" together. This assembly also results in a smooth finish, with no visible connectors. The easy-to-assemble design provides reduced labor and maintenance, resulting in long-term savings and elimination of the cost and inconvenience of downtime for repairs.

The new durable, attractive STRONGRAIL(TM) systems offer several options to achieve the look you need. The top railing can be square or rounded. The pickets can be square or round and the standard colors are black and white; however, custom colors are available upon request. The handrail system meets IBC 2006 requirements with a 2:1 factor of safety and can be customized to meet ADA requirements.

STRONGRAIL(TM) architectural handrail is ideal for any high traffic area where handrail and property aesthetics is needed, and are particularly well-suited to corrosive environments like those found in commercial structures with urban and salt air corrosion. Typical applications include hotel/motel stairs and balconies, walkway railings, condominium/apartment complexes, waterpark/theme park railing, perimeter fencing and many others.
