BAFO Introduces New HDMI Extension System

BAFO has released HDMI Extension over CAT Cable Solutions

Taipei, Taiwan - A worldwide supplier of audio, video, computer, and custom designed cables & electronics for over 25 years, BAFO is pleased to offer a new solution that extends an HDMI signal up to 30 meters using regular CAT5e and CAT6 network cables. This system is designed to deliver HDMI signals using low cost network CAT cables.

BF-3379 HDMI over CAT Cable Extender is a digital, audio-video extension product which transmits the High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) content from a source to a display device, such as a monitor, projector, or flat-panel up to 30 meters apart. The BF-3379 utilizes a transmitter and receiver with two CAT cables to carry the signals between them. The receiver can be placed up to 30 meters away and will provide enough bandwidth to deliver 1080p digital content.

The BF-3379 is ideal for both home theater and commercial use. Typical application: the plasma or LCD display would be placed at one end of a large entertainment room with the DVD and HD Satellite/Cable Box source located at the other end. Using the BF-3379 with CAT5e/6 cables permits easy routing of cabling behind walls and over ceilings, providing easy installation for the home or office.

"We are providing a cost effective solution to HDMI users to extend full 1080p resolution up to 30M over CAT cables," states John Smith, General Manager for BAFO USA. "It is a great cost effective solution for HDMI extension and provides easy installation for the user."

BF-3379 is available from our sales offices in the United States and Taiwan.
