Available for variety of precision motion control applications, LX Series features black chrome-plated base with 2-row Gothic arch rail system for stability in all directions, and precision ball screw with built-in angular and radial contact bearings. Covered style has 2 dowel holes in block for location repeatability during assembly and maintenance. Ranging from 100-600 mm in length with 1 or 2 blocks standard, RoHS-compliant units come with 1, 2, 5, or 10 mm leads.

Schaumburg, IL-Misumi USA, Inc. announces an expansion of its single-axis actuator line. The LX Series is now available for a variety of precision motion control applications in the packaging, machine tool, automotive, appliance, semiconductor, medical and other industries. The new line offers a choice of standard or covered styles in three capacities, with lower overall stage height to conserve space, dowel holes in the base plate for accurate and fast assembly, plus the base length is configurable down to 10mm increments. As with all Misumi products, there is no minimum quantity and configured units can be supplied in as little as six days. Unit prices start at $460.
Features include an extruded, black chrome plated base for high rigidity with a two-row Gothic arch rail system for stability in all directions of load as well as a precision ball screw with built-in angular and radial contact bearings built in the support and motor bracket. Other features include an integral motor bracket designed to accommodate most servo/stepper motors and integrated ball screw nut and linear guide mechanism on the block for added precision in motion, plus the covered style has two dowel holes in the block to improve location repeatability during assembly and maintenance.
In addition, the covered version further features a patent-pending design where the cover and flanged top plate are interfaced for a lower profile and lower overall stage height.
These Misumi single-axis actuators are available in 100-600mm lengths, with one or two blocks standard and 1, 2, 5 or 10mm leads. All are RoHS compliant.
