KZCO's EH5 Electric Actuator for Valves up to 6 Inches in Size

ASHLAND, NE - January 22, 2008 - KZCO, inc. a manufacturer of motorized ball and butterfly valves for 32 years, has just introduced their new EH5 electric actuator. The EH5 has a torque rating of up to 500 in/lbs and is available on valve sizes ranging from 1.5 inches to 6 inches. Features of the EH5 include NEMA 6P housing, RoHS compliant solid state programmable circuitry and a wide variety of control and feedback options. Standard models are 12/24VDC and 24 VAC compatible.

Our motorized valves deliver high performance in some of the world's most challenging applications which include NASA ground support, fire fighting equipment, automated process controls, ammonia controls, HVAC/Hydronic control valves, mobile construction equipment, RV control valves, marine fuel and bilge systems, home flood control systems and ground or aerial de-icing sprayer controls.

About KZCO, inc.:
KZCO Inc. began in 1976 with one product, the dependable Hydra-Halt. Originally called K.Z. Company, the Hydra-Halt was invented in 1975 by 2 brothers, Keith and Kevin Ziegenbein, to use on the family farm. When the Hydra-Halt was released, it was an instant success, replacing manual valves on fertilizer applicators with new hydraulic remote control. Despite this, customers preferred to have an electric valve. All existing electric valves in the Ag market were solenoid type, and were not dependable. A ball valve was the key, and it had to be motorized. KZCO was the first in the industry to bring an economical motorized ball valve concept to market. The Electra-Halt was introduced in 1982 after 4 years of research and development.

Over the next decade, KZCO introduced a wide variety of other ag and industrial products. In 1992 the Electra-Halt 2 was introduced or EH2 for short, and the Electra-Halt product line expanded into the thousands of new valve types, sizes, motors and wiring options available today. In 1997, the EH3 and QC3 valves were added, bringing the mathematical combination of available valves options into the millions. Since 1997, KZCO has continued to expand its product line with the QX4 and the 89 series valves in 1999, and new controllers, the Tri-Lite and Dial-a-Matic in 2000. KZCO uses the engineering philosophy of "form follows function, and price follows quality." Price is important, so every KZCO product is designed to achieve our rigorous standards for quality, and maintain an economical price.

KZCO, in its 32nd year, continues to produce innovative, high quality products for agriculture and industry applications.
