Utilizing spinning-discs, Rotary Atomization Spray Applicator applies pumpable liquids, including particulates up to 5/16 in., onto baked goods, foods, poultry, and meat. Unit produces gentle spray that will not disrupt existing coatings, eliminating air knives and nozzles, which can clog as well as over- or under-coat. Built to customer requirements with pickup range from 1-50%, applicator is available with up to 12 upper sprayers and 8 below belt.
Rotary Atomization Spray Applicator Uniformly Applies Fine Mist to Heavy Shower
An in-line spray applicator that applies liquids ranging from light oils to thick batters precisely onto baked goods, foods, poultry, and meat, has been introduced by Wilevco, Inc. of Billerica, Massachusetts.
Wilevco's R.A. Spray Applicator utilizes patented spinning-discs to apply any pumpable liquid including particulates up to 5/16", with accuracy by weight to within 1/2% variance across the belt. Eliminating air-knives and nozzles which can clog, cause marriages, and over-under-coat, this in-line sprayer produces a gentle spray that will not disrupt existing coatings.
Built to customer requirements with a pickup range from 1 to 50%, depending upon application, Wilevco's R.A. Spray Applicator features a coating capture area and recirculation outside of the belt. Its patented design allows for multiple spinning disc assemblies in the spray zone; with 12 upper sprayers and 8 below the belt. All components meet USDA and BISSC requirements.
