Maple Systems Puts the OIT in the Palm of Your Hand

(Everett, WA) - Maple Systems announces the newest addition to the Silver Series family of operator interface touchscreens (OITs), the HMI504T for just $299.

Designed for applications where space is at a premium, this OIT has compact dimensions of 4" H x 5" W and a depth of 1.5". The 4.3" TFT display has higher resolution (480 x 272 pixels) than most OITs of this size. The screen supports 256 vivid colors, a wide viewing angle, and a high contrast ratio. The display is bright, with a rating of 300 cd/m2. With a quality display on the HMI504T, you now have crisp, vivid graphics on a small operator interface. Use popup windows to display important data or keypad entry when necessary.

This OIT is also uniquely suited for mobile applications such as automotive or boating. The HMI504T will operate with an input voltage range of 12-24VDC. It has relatively low power consumption, only 150mA@24VDC and 250mA@12VDC. Also, there is an option to reduce the current consumption an additional 30% by dimming the display. Reducing the brightness of the display can alleviate glare during nighttime viewing.

As part of the Silver Series, the HMI504T has all of the features customers have come to expect from Maple Systems - including easy-to-use software with simulation mode; versatile touch objects for data entry; bargraphs and meters; alarm monitoring; extensive graphics libraries and animation; and support for PLCs and motion controllers from over 30 of the most popular manufacturers like Allen-Bradley, Siemens and GE Fanuc.

Every HMI504T comes with a two year warranty. For more information, visit Maple Systems website at www.maplesystems.com, or call 425-745-3229.
