Integrated Speech Applications to Unveil Mobile Voice Office at Macworld Expo
IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 10 /-- Integrated Speech Applications, Inc. will demonstrate its advanced mobile voice recognition capabilities at Macworld Expo, January 15-18, 2008, in San Francisco.
The Integrated Speech Applications (ISA) voice recognition capability creates a voice office for mobile users. By using any wireless phone, users can dictate emails and text messages, send or receive emails by voice commands and set and review appointments via voice recognition, in a hands-free environment.
One of the voice recognition features that ISA will demonstrate is the SafText Messaging service, an advanced wireless dictation system that allows mobile users to send text messages via a voice enabled platform.
Today, 35 percent of all text messages are sent by high school and college students. The simplicity of the Integrated Speech Applications SafText Messaging service reduces safety concerns of 'texters' and their parents by eliminating hands-on keyboarding. Rather, the message is created dictation style, through the VoicePDA platform.
Through the ISA service, the recipient receives the message as a written text message, or as a voice message.
"Dictation is the ultimate voice recognition, and the Integrated Speech Applications service is providing a highly effective and easy means to link mobile users to critical information and people via voice," said Richard Gillespie, chief information officer, Integrated Speech Applications.
Hands-on demonstrations of the ISA voice office features, including the SafText Messaging service, will be given at the Integrated Speech Applications booth all days of the Macworld Expo.
