Featuring non time-sliced services for speeding up service discovery, MobiMUX FPGA processing DVB-H IP Encapsulator natively supports statistical multiplexing streams from any type of H.264 encoders. ECM insertion is optimized to save bandwidth and optimize fast-zapping. Providing all DVB-H services administration and platform management facilities, MobiMUX is interoperable with all H.264 encoders, ESG servers, and CA systems, and has been tested with DVB-H handsets.

ENENSYS Is Proud to Announce the Commercial Release of Mobimux, the World's First FPGA Processing and Native Statistical Time-Slicing DVB-H IP Encapsulator
MobiMUX is the 2nd generation DVB-H IP Encapsulator developed by ENENSYS. Analyzing new constraints brought by commercial roll-outs, ENENSYS completely renewed the way IP Encapsulators were usually developed, and is proud to provide Telecom Operators and Broadcasters with a state-of-the-art hardware solution capable to meet any of their demands.
Apart from well-known DVB-H IP encapsulation process, ENENSYS redefines what should be standards features for a given DVB-H IP Encapsulator. From now on, bandwidth utilization is crucial: any kbit transmitted has a cost. MobiMUX thus natively supports statistical multiplexing streams from any type of H.264 encoders. ECM insertion is also optimized in order to both save bandwidth, but also optimize fast-zapping. On top, MobiMUX features non time-sliced services for speeding up service discovery.
MobiMUX provides all DVB-H services administration and platform management facilities. It is of course inter-operable with all H.264 encoders, ESG servers, and CA systems of the market, and has been successfully tested with any available DVB-H handset.
