January 16, 2008 - Designed to house push-in, twist-on, or split-bolt connectors, DryConn DBG(TM) is filled with non-toxic SmartGel(TM), which is waterproof and corrosion proof. Semi-transparent, re-enterable housing allows for splice examination during and after installation without opening encapsulated connector. Featuring one-piece design, housing eliminates need for messy grease tubes, heat shrinks, primer, tapes, and epoxy packs.

New Product for Two-Wire/Decoder Irrigation Systems Houses Three Types of Connections

O'FALLON, MISSOURI - King Innovation® announces its newest addition to the DryConn® Connector family, the DBG(TM) with SmartGel(TM). Designed to house push-in, twist-on, or split-bolt connectors, this all in one product is patent pending and is the perfect solution to waterproofing connections in two-wire/decoder irrigation systems.

Filled with SmartGel, a non-toxic sealant that is waterproof and corrosion proof and protects the connection over a wide range of temperatures, the DryConn DBG with SmartGel can hold and protect three different connectors using the same housing. The semi-transparent, re-enterable housing allows for splice examination during and after installation without opening the encapsulated connector. The DryConn DBG with SmartGel also eliminates the need for messy, difficult to use grease tubes, heat shrinks, primer, tapes, and epoxy packs with its one piece housing that is easy to install.
