DC Gearmotor has integral brake.

January 16, 2008 - MMP C21-125B-12V GP52-046 BR-005 DC Gearmotor offers output of 47 lb-in. continuous torque at 83 rpm, and 213 lb-in. peak. Accepting any 12 Vdc source, motor requires 6.6 A at 12 Vdc to generate Full Load Torque. Integral Failsafe Brake holds load in place. Unit measures 2.14 x 7.75 in. and has keyed output shaft of 12 x 25 mm. Mounting is accomplished with 4 face mount M5 threaded holes. IP 54 rating allows for operation in harsh environments.

Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Gear Motor, the Model No. MMP C21-125B-12V GP52-046 BR-005. Accepting any 12 Volt DC source, including battery power, this robust Gear Motor measures just 2.14" in Diameter, by 7.75" long, and has a keyed output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long. Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 "face mount" M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm Dia. B.C.

The output of this reversible gearmotor is rated for 47 IN LBS continuous torque, at 83 RPM, and 213 IN LBS Peak. Complete with an Integral Failsafe Brake that holds the load in place, the weight is approximately 5 pounds, and it's an efficient design, requiring just 6.6 Amp at 12 Volts DC to generate its Full Load Torque. That translates into long life battery charge, very quiet operation, and lower cost drive electronics. Motor windings for 24, 36, 48 & 90 Volts are available.
This unique design is rated at an "IP 54" protection level for operation in harsh environments. Variable Speed accomplished with our fully compatible Speed Control, Model MMP 25A-12V, or MMP 20A-12V-RSP
