New Econo-Vue Photoelectric Sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs Packed with Big Features at a Small Price

Provides durability, accuracy, flexibility and quick response time in compact, OEM-friendly package

TWINSBURG, OH - Pepperl+Fuchs introduces GLV18 Econo-Vue Photoelectric Sensors. The Econo-Vue has all of the great features that users expect to find in larger, more costly sensors, yet it comes in a compact, shorter housing that provides greater mounting flexibility. It is the most economical series in Pepperl+Fuchs' cylindrical photoelectric family.

"Econo-Vue is designed and priced with OEMs in mind, and machine builders shouldn't let the size-or the price-fool them. Econo-Vue is a workhorse. With its industry-standard 18 mm diameter housing and short barrel length, the Econo-Vue easily fits into any space restricted application, and is ideally suited for material handling. Its small size allows it to fit in tight spaces, and it can be easily attached to the sides of conveyors to detect objects on the rollers," said Ed Myers, Product Manager for Pepperl+Fuchs.

64 Econo-Vue models are available in five different sensing modes and provide sensing ranges up to 20m, making them well suited for nearly any photoelectric sensing application. All models are available in straight and right-angled housings, cabled and quick disconnect versions, and come standard with a flush mount bracket to create a custom look on panel mounts.

Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
