Flat Air Nozzle provides adjustable force.

December 24, 2007 - Available in zinc aluminum alloy or Type 316 SS, High Power Super Air Nozzle produces flat 2 in. wide airstream with blowing force of 2.2 lb when mounted 12 in. from target. Air is released through .025 in. gap opening that is set with stainless steel shim positioned between body and removable cap. Force and flow may be adjusted by installing different shim thicknesses. Consuming 37 scfm at 80 psig, nozzle produces 83 dBA, which is below OSHA noise limits.

Adjustable Flat Air Nozzle Has Strong Blowing Force

EXAIR's new 2" High Power Super Air Nozzle produces a flat 2" (51mm) wide airstream with a strong blowing force of 2.2 pounds when mounted 12" from the target. The adjustable force is more than three times that of ordinary air nozzles.

The 2" High Power Super Air Nozzle uses EXAIR's patented technology to maximize entrained airflow while reducing noise levels. A precise amount of air is released through the .025" (0.64mm) air gap opening that is set with a stainless steel shim positioned between the body and removable cap. The airstream pulls in surrounding room air to produce a wide, forceful stream of high velocity, laminar airflow. Air consumption is 37 SCFM at 80 PSIG. The 83 dBA sound level is below the limits of the OSHA maximum allowable noise exposure standard 29 CFR 1910.95(a). Force and flow may be easily adjusted by installing different shim thicknesses. Optional swivel fittings and Stay Set Flexible Hoses to aim the nozzle are available.

The 2" High Power Super Air Nozzle is available in zinc aluminum alloy construction suitable for rugged industrial applications and Type 316 stainless steel ideal for corrosive, pharmaceutical and food applications. Applications include ejecting heavy parts and slugs, chip removal, part cleaning, drying, liquid blowoff and cooling. Price is $49.
