Photo Gallery 2.0 - Exciting New Social Networking Feature in Bitrix Site Manager CMS

Bitrix Site Manager now features a new, leading-edge solution that allows site developers and administrators to quickly create a photo gallery with social networking capabilities. With Photo Gallery 2.0, site managers can upload large photo files, manage multiple albums, and create and manage multiple image galleries for any web project.

Photo Gallery 2.0 introduces a bulk upload function, which makes building a new, optimized photo gallery a piece of cake for any project. More than that, Photo Gallery 2.0 includes the following capabilities:
o Automatic creation of thumbnails of files in JPEG, GIF, and PNG formats
o Single and multiple selection of images
o All operations - thumbnailing, resizing, labelling - are performed locally! Only processed and resized images are sent to the server
o Resume broken uploads
o Bulk upload function to easily upload a large number of photos
o Visitors can rate photos and add their comments
All the photo albums can be assigned with the particular permission type - it is possible to hide the albums from definite user groups.
