Ricoh Unveils the Aficio SP C400DN Color Laser Printer
Advanced Device Offers High-Quality Color at an Exceptional Value
WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Dec. 17 -- Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the Aficio(R) SP C400DN color laser printer. Ideal for small businesses, the Aficio SP C400DN offers high-quality output and superior performance at a low price point.
The Aficio SP C400DN completes the SP C410DN/C411DN series, which is known for quality, high-speed printing and toner efficiency. The least expensive machine in the series, the Aficio SP C400DN prints at 26 pages per minute (ppm) in both color and black & white, enabling customers to maintain high productivity. In addition, the 600 MHz controller helps the customer output large files quickly. Furthermore, the printer warms up in less than 10 seconds for black and white prints and less than 15 seconds for color, minimizing wait time and increasing productivity. With a generous paper capacity of 1,750 sheets, there are fewer interruptions from reloading.
Small businesses will enjoy the cost savings associated with the efficiency and quality of the Aficio SP C400DN prints. With resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, the device produces vivid prints with professional-grade quality. From glossy presentation to black & white documents, the printer can handle a wide array of paper stocks and sizes to enable workgroups to print more jobs in-house. The Aficio SP C400DN offers security features including the Unauthorized Copy Control feature, which embeds special messages on a printed document to prevent unauthorized copying and the DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS) option, which overwrites latent data information that is stored on the printer's hard drive after printing jobs to prevent unauthorized access.
