The new features in BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform 3.0, including easy-to-use Eclipse-based modelling, are designed to help decrease time-to-value and reduce costs by improving productivity and by eliminating data inconsistency errors. Specifically, BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform 3.0 is designed to support the information as a service strategy component of any service-oriented architecture (SOA), business process management or portal implementation. As an information service technology that supports the creation of bi-directional (read-and-write) information service from multiple data sources, BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform 3.0 offers the breakthrough ability to graphically model both simple and complex updates to heterogeneous data sources by eliminating coding.
