Year-End Inventories are Easier to Take With Manncorp's '2000 Pro' SMD Parts Counting System
A complete component inventory management system, consisting of a motorized surface mount parts counter, bar code reader and label laser printer, is now available from Manncorp.
According to CEO Henry Mann, "the 2000 Pro cuts the burdensome and time-consuming tasks of year-end as well as on-the-spot inventory tallies, since it provides almost immediate read-outs or printouts and functions beyond that of an ordinary parts counter." Users may quickly detect shortages by scanning the bar code on the reel, verifying the count, then printing a new bar code identity label with the current quantity, date and time. The counter will process a 7 or 13-inch reel containing 5,000 taped parts with pitches of 2 to 32 mils in approximately 90 seconds.
