November 30, 2007 - Furnished with standard 50,000 lb secondary release shears (value-changeable in field), RODEC(TM) Model A anchors tubing string in tension or compression in wells of any depth. Double-grip anchor prevents vertical movement of tubing string during pumping operations, simultaneously promoting pump efficiency while minimizing rod wear. Released by left hand rotation, solution features emergency shear release and drag blocks for setting and releasing control.

R&M Energy Systems Features the RODEC(TM) Mechanical Tubing Anchor Catcher


Willis, Texas - R&M Energy Systems, a part of the Fluid Management Group of Robbins & Myers, Inc., offers the RODEC(TM) Model A Mechanical Tubing Anchor Catcher, a retrievable double-grip anchor designed to anchor the tubing string in tension or compression in wells of any depth.

The Anchor Catcher prevents vertical movement of the tubing string during pumping
operations, thus increasing pump efficiency and decreasing rod wear. Anchor Catchers are factory furnished with standard 50,000 lbs. (22,000 daN) secondary release shears. Shear value may be easily changed in the field.

Features of the RODEC(TM) Anchor Catcher include:

· Fully retrievable
· Released by left hand rotation
· Drag blocks for setting and releasing control in wells at any depth
· Emergency shear release, each shear pin 5,000 lbs. (2,200 daN)
