CTS North America Introduces LS100IP Internet-Enabled Check Scanner
Debuts at BAI with Esprida remote management software...
LAS VEGAS - Nov. 13, 2007 - CTS North America today announced, here at BAI, a new version of its popular LS100 check scanner that is able to interact with remote management software over the Internet. Called the LS100IP, the new Internet Protocol-addressable unit communicates with back end systems to aid in error detection and remediation, data collection and reporting.
The LS100IP is designed to simplify branch automation by enabling multiple users at a branch location to share one or a few LS100IP units over a Local Area Network (LAN). The units can be easily deployed to branches with managed installation and activation.
The LS100IP supports Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP systems, as well as Linux. It features a reading speed of 500mm/sec (19.7in/sec) with throughputs of up to 52 documents per minute. Flexible reader formats, front and rear image cameras and an automatic document feeder, as well as document stamping and other features, are also available. Special features available only on the LS100IP are Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols, 10Mb built-in memory for backup and rollback, and the ability to be an onboard application client allowing integrators to download applications directly into the unit.

The LS100IP is the first ever driverless browsable scanner - users just open a browser to pull up scanned images - and it is fully compatible with applications supporting the CTS line of scanners."
Esprida participates in demo at BAI
CTS North America is demonstrating the LS100IP at BAI in Booth #1845 with Esprida Corporation. Esprida provides visibility into an LS100IP deployment with advanced out-of-the-box capabilities and remote functionality. The Esprida demo exhibits automated error detection and remediation, scheduling and content package distribution using dynamic grouping, as well as customized reports based on user roles.
