PSI Engineering Proudly Introduces Its Envelope and Specialty Stock Printer Solution for the High Volume User Market
Mississauga, ON, Wednesday October 10, 2007 - PSI Engineering, an industry leader in material handling and document automation solutions, unveils its latest multi-purpose LED printer system, the Color Laser Mail 3640. With duty cycles of 150,000 envelopes per month, the Color Laser Mail 3640 is designed for the high volume user market. "Printing the envelopes long edge helps keep operating costs down, improves performance, eliminates long edge curl and virtually eliminates wrinkling, regardless of the quality of envelope used," States Frank P. Bonsu, account manager, printer division.
"Many laser printers in the market today can not print large of volume envelopes; they require paper to be printed at regular intervals in order to keep the printer clean." "They also experience significant problems with envelope inserting systems because typically envelopes are fed short edge which makes it difficult to insert documents into curled envelopes," Concludes Mr. Bonsu.
The Color Laser Mail 3640 has separate developer, drum and main charge unit. This allows users to replace only what is needed, not all of the components. It has been determined when the cartridge components are replaced simultaneously, 99% still contain useful consumables. This feature alone will lower consumable costs considerably.
This printing solution incorporates PSI Engineering's "Load-on-the-fly" technology which allows the Color Laser Mail 3640 to run envelopes and specialty stocks production style; thus, minimizing operator involvement. In addition, the Color Laser Mail 3640 is capable of variable data printing therefore; mail merge jobs and special teaser information can be printed on demand. With the capacity to print up to 40 full color or monochrome envelopes per minute and an input and output capacity of 1000 pieces, the Color Laser Mail 3640 will make certain that organizations, Service Bureaus, Real Estate offices, banks, Direct Marketing companies are all achieving peak productivity.
The Color Laser Mail 3640 employs color proofing technology and first-rate toner adhesion which produces consistent and dynamic color each and every time. It can print on a multitude of different media with ease, which makes it ideal for use as a multi-functional office printer, as well. For added versatility, the Color Laser Mail 3640 uses Adobe PostScript 3 so it can deliver professional quality results from a Mac or a PC computer.
