Non-technical application design interface: IDEAM's built-in drag and drop application design wizards, sample templates and custom icons, along with the ability to change and update applications quickly and easily, remove complexity and facilitate rapid application development.
Independent yet connected mobile service: IDEAM allows mobile data collection devices to operate independently on or off the network and intelligently communicate with the server only when information is required.
Real-time data collection: IDEAM can immediately exchange data with the server and with related ERP databases to update/change inventory and show product movement. Using the IDEAM product's communications capabilities, which can operate over the Web, IDEAM can function as a worldwide extension of a host system.
Device independence: IDEAM works with any Microsoft Windows CE/Mobile device without modification and on standard wireless networks. It also supports thousands of printers through Bluetooth, WiFi and/or direct connections.
Support for Windows Mobile 6 devices: Applications powered by IDEAM now use the Microsoft .NET 2 Compact mobile framework and support the Windows Mobile 6 platform.
