Based on Phosphine Oxides, Songflame YA 010 and YA 020 are designed to be reactive with resin backbone, principally epoxies, to give long term stability, while being environmentally safe, non-toxic, and non-corrosive. Based on Phenol/Bi-phenol polyphosphate, Songflame TP100 boosts thermal strength properties in resin matrix and is suited for variety of thermoplastic resins, particularly Polycarbonate, Polycarbonate blends with ABS, and wide range of Polyesters.

Songwon Enters the World of Halogen Free Flame Retardants with the Introduction of an Innovative New Product Range At K 2007
Ulsan, Korea, October 31, 2007 - Over a period of almost three years Songwon Research and Development, headed by Dr. Sangha Kim, have screened more than 100 new molecular structures, resulting in three new and innovative halogen free flame retardants suited to a number of key resins and their end use applications.
Songflame YA 010 and YA 020 are halogen free flame retardants based on Phosphine Oxides and are designed to be reactive with the resin backbone, principally epoxies, to give long term stability with the key advantages of being environmentally safe, non toxic and non corrosive. These important attributes are essential to their end use application for glass reinforced printed circuit boards.
Songflame TP100 is a halogen free flame retardant based on Phenol/Bi-phenol polyphosphate and is suited to a wide range of thermoplastic resins, particularly Polycarbonate, Polycarbonate blends with ABS, and a wide range of Polyesters. This new molecular structure, having a higher glass transition temperature, has the key advantage of boosting the thermal strength properties in the resin matrix.
