Austin, Texas - October 31, 2007 - InduSoft's RealTime Performance Management solution enables manufacturing and process plants to gather real-time data from PLCs, PCs, DCSes and historians, as well as ERP programs, MES and WRP software. This comprehensive solution also enables the definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - a critical analytical tool. InduSoft makes it possible for anyone in the company to access information from PCs, laptops, tablet PCs, PDAs and cell phones by using standard Web browsers, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer. Performance data and analyses can be accessed through the plant intranet, over a wireless, mobile device, or remotely, over the Internet.
RealTime Performance Management employs a PC Server that runs InduSoft Web Studio-based application. The Server obtains all the key, real-time and calculated data from a variety of sources, such as PLCs and ERP systems, and then pushes the data to Thin Clients through a Web browser. But that's not all. If need be, the data can also reside natively on a mobile device or work station. The Server also supports redundant configurations for high reliability, and it can be protected by multiple levels of security-including a secure viewing system that controls Internet access.
InduSoft, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, manufactures products that run on all operating systems supported by Microsoft, including Microsoft Mobile, Microsoft CE and Microsoft Vista.
