Incorporating Intel® Q965 Express chipset with 4 GB Dual Channel DDR2 800 SDRAM max, iQ965-CI supports Intel LGA 775 Core Duo/Core(TM) 2 Duo and Pentium® 4/Celeron® D processors up to 1,066 MHz. Onboard Trusted Platform Module security system accompanies other features such as 5.1 and 2-CH amplified audio streams, Intel GMA3000 graphics, and one PCI Express x16 slot with ADD2 VGA/LVDS/DVI/HDMI support. The resulting performance boost delivers strong support for Intel® Core(TM)2 processors, up to 1066 MHz. The iQ965-CI sports some very unique features, with an onboard TPM (Trusted Platform Module) security system, dual audio streams (5.1 & 2-CH amplified audio), along with Intel® GMA3000 accelerated graphics. iQ965-CI is powered by the Intel® Q965 chipset that applies the best of FMA (Fast Memory Access) for highly efficient memory access, as well as Intel® GMA 3000 (Graphics Media Accelerator 3000) technology that supports DirectX 9.0c, Pixel Shader 2.0, 256 MB of video memory, and a dual independent display through ADD2 and MEC cards. iQ965-CI accommodates one PCI Express x16 slot that supports various ADD2 VGA / LVDS / DVI / HDMI cards for a secondary display. High speed image transmission ensures that the iQ965-CI is powerful enough for critical image processing applications.
Onboard TPM
iQ965-CI provides a trusted platform for secure transactions with the Infineon SLB 9635 Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip, which is used to ensure authenticity, integrity and confidentiality in e-commerce transactions and Internet communications.
5.1 & 2-CH Amplified Audio
Consistent with Advansus's new series Mini-ITX motherboard, iQ965-CI utilizes the latest ALC888 audio codec that supports two independent audio streams: one features 5.1 channel output through the rear audio jacks, and the other offers two channels at five watts per channel of amplified stereo through the front audio jack. Extra audio performance supports the latest gaming, digital signage and multimedia applications. The iQ965-CI also offers plenty of high-speed connectivity, provided through one Gigabit LAN, two SATA, six USB, and two serial ports.
